The reports needed to be both informative and visually compelling, making the reading experience as smooth as possible without losing the weight of the subject matter.

Our approach prioritized clean layouts, structured typography, and strong visual hierarchy for clarity. The covers, designed in collaboration with photographer Edward Davies, became a space for creative expression. Instead of conventional depictions of hardship, we focused on strength, pride, and dignity—aligning each cover with the themes of the reports to create a more empowering visual narrative.

The bold yet refined covers set the tone for each report, shifting the focus from struggle to resilience. By offering a fresh perspective, the reports encouraged policymakers to engage more deeply with the content, both in print and online.
